I’ve lived all over the country, but Alabama is home. It forever will be, no matter where I go. I have too much family, roots, history, and memories to ever consider calling anywhere else “home.”
I’ve been writing since I was knee-high to a grasshopper. In elementary school I started writing poerty, short stories, and skits which my sisters and I would enact for our parents. I gave up on the skits. Now I just write novels, short stories amd poetry. These have always come very naturally to me.
I began my college career as a physics major, but eventually shifted to studying English at the University of Alabama, concentrating in Creative Writing for both undergrad and graduate school.
